Tall, Small, What Recliner Chair Is Best for Me?
Getting the right fit…
Tall or small…
If you’re taller or smaller than average, you may well have struggled throughout your life with ill-fitting things. From clothing to kitchen counters, nothing seems to be designed to fit or use comfortably when you’re at one end or the other of the height scale. But, when it comes to rise recliners, you don’t need to worry! There’s a vast range available to cater for people of all shapes and sizes … and if there’s nothing ‘off the shelf’ to perfectly match your proportions, there are several chairs that can be made-to-measure, too.
Most of the chairs that we offer are available in a range of sizes, some ‘small’, ‘medium’ and ‘large’, or others having a choice of cushion depths and widths. There are also a number of models that specifically address the needs of taller and smaller people, such as The Tall, part of the Olympia Collection, which is great for people of 6’ and over. Available in 3 chair styles with a choice of motor, The Tall has a luxurious pocket sprung cushion, a choice of 4 backs, 3 seating movements to choose from and a whole range of fabrics. It has a 20 stone weight limit.
For those of smaller stature, The Repose Rimini Express comes in a choice of sizes including petite, while the Repose Olympia not only has standard petite and super petite sizes available … it also addresses the other end of the scale with ‘Grande’ and ‘Tall’ sizes, too. In fact, this model offers a total of 8 different sizes.
And, of course, as we mentioned, made-to-measure is always an option too. Our experienced staff are here to help you find your ideal chair match and will help to measure you to ensure your rise recliner is offering all the support you need, in all the right places.
