At Stuart Mobility we’re constantly striving to find new ways to bring our customers the very best.
In terms of products, we continually work with the best suppliers in the UK to provide the highest quality products and the latest technological advancements. To ensure our service is always the best that it can be, we look at ways to improve our industry knowledge, too.

That’s why Justina has recently undertaken a Level 3 Trusted Assessor course, endorsed by the BHTA, which officially qualifies her to assess for equipment to support independent living. This national qualification, taught by TACT (Trusted Assessing and Care Training) and accredited by OCN London, includes learning outcomes such as:
- Understanding the significance of safety and risk throughout the process of equipment safety
- Knowing a range of equipment solutions that can be used for clients
- Being able to measure for equipment solutions that can be used for clients
The course, cited as ‘an all-new course designed to enable organisations to upskill their frontline staff in recognising, assessing for and prescribing minor aids and adaptations to reduce risks and promote independent living’, has been designed for professionals (including physiotherapists, nurses, care managers, and support workers) looking to enhance their abilities to support their patients and clients, which is exactly what Justina always strives to do:
“I’ve been doing this job for many years now and I’ve helped countless customers during this time, but that’s not to say I haven’t still got more to learn! I think it’s really important to continue your own professional development and keep up with changes – we should never rest on our laurels, no matter how long we’ve been in a job for. Learning is a lifelong process. Not only can we learn new things to add to the service that we offer, but it can bring new perspectives, too. I love what I do, so it’s always fascinating to undertake new courses that add an extra dimension to the knowledge and experience that I’ve accumulated over the years.”
The TACT Trusted Assessor course not only covers how and when to assess for aids that can support independent living, but it also looks at understanding the impact of other factors such as family and living environment, which can have a big impact on the needs of the individual. Building a whole picture of a person’s life, beyond their healthcare needs, can really help with ensuring that the solutions provided are the correct ones and will give optimum day-to-day support. “Everyone’s situation is unique,” explains Justina, “so it’s really important to consider every facet of their lives before arriving at a solution.”
Justina already had a wealth of knowledge and skills, built over many years in the industry. This latest qualification endorses and enhances this experience, providing customers old and new with the reassurance that Stuart Mobility is a responsible, reputable, caring company that is firmly focused on obtaining the best outcome for their clients.
